Refund Policy

At Ayodhya Darshanam, we strive to provide the best travel experience for our customers. We understand that plans can change, and we have designed our refund and cancellation policy to be transparent and fair. Please read this policy carefully before booking our services.

This Refund Policy applies to all tour packages, hotel bookings, cab services, and other travel-related services provided by Ayodhya Darshanam. By booking with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Cancellation Policy

We offer flexible cancellation options depending on the time of cancellation:

• Cancellation more than 15 days before the travel date: Full refund (minus any non-refundable booking fees).
• Cancellation between 7 to 14 days before the travel date: 75% refund of the total booking amount.
• Cancellation between 3 to 6 days before the travel date: 50% refund of the total booking amount.
• Cancellation less than 48 hours before the travel date: No refund will be issued.
• No-show or early departure: No refund will be provided.

Note: For special tour packages, festival specials, and group bookings, cancellation terms may vary. Please check the specific terms mentioned in your booking confirmation or contact us for details.

2. Refund Process

Once we receive your cancellation request, we will process your refund as per the cancellation policy. The refund process typically takes 5 to 7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
• If the booking was made through a third-party platform, refunds will be processed as per their policies.
• Any bank charges, currency conversion fees, or transaction fees incurred during the refund process will be borne by the customer.

3. Changes to Booking

If you wish to modify your booking (e.g., change travel dates, tour package, or hotel), we will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability.

• Changes requested more than 7 days before the travel date are free of charge (subject to availability).
• Changes requested within 7 days of the travel date may incur a service fee of up to 10% of the booking amount.
• Any price difference between the original and new booking will be adjusted accordingly.

4. Non-Refundable Services

Certain services are non-refundable once booked. These include:

• Hotel Bookings: Some hotels have strict cancellation policies; these will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.
• Transportation Services: Cab services and vehicle rentals may have non-refundable deposits.
• Special Events & Festivals: Bookings for festivals, special aartis, or exclusive tours are often non-refundable.
• Third-Party Services: Any services provided by third-party vendors (e.g., external tour guides, activity providers) may have their own refund policies.

5. How to Cancel or Request a Refund

To cancel your booking or request a refund, please contact us through any of the following channels:

6. Refund Timeframe

We aim to process all refunds as quickly as possible. However, the actual timeframe depends on your bank or payment provider. Typically:

• Credit/Debit Cards: 5 to 7 business days.
• UPI / Net Banking: 3 to 5 business days.
• Cash / Bank Transfer: 7 to 10 business days.

If you do not receive your refund within the specified timeframe, please contact us so we can investigate.

7. Force Majeure

In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, government restrictions, political unrest, or other events beyond our control, we will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis. We will strive to offer alternative travel dates or partial refunds as applicable.
